Sammy Sasso (Class of 2014) is a quarterback for the top ranked football program in Arizona, the Hamilton Huskies. He led the Huskies to an 8-1 record in 2010. Sasso has always been a vital part of dominate football programs. He was a three time state champion at the youth football level. In 2009, Sasso was selected to the AYF Arizona All-State team as his Chandler Rattlers finished second nationally.In January of 2010, Sasso was selected as one of two quarterbacks to plays in the National AYF Under Armour All-Star game in Florida.
A native of Arizona, Sasso has been a winner at every level of football. He possesses a great passion for the game and a tremendous work ethic. Sammy Sasso is an outstanding leader who has exceptional abilities in reading opposing defenses on the fly.
In 2011, Hamilton's junior varsity team went 9-0 under head coach Kelly Stout. Sasso established several school passing records (JV) including touchdown passes.
Currently, Sasso is working with former NFL QB Dennis Giles. Giles is a quarterbacks coach in Arizona and believes Sasso will become one of the top QBs in Arizona at the varisty level. In addition, Sasso remains resolve in his speed and strength training in the off-season.
